Registration FAQs

Below are a list of Frequently Asked Questions in regards to registering for the Knob Hill Barracudas swim team and fees/billing:

• When is registration?
  • Registration will open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and close on Friday, April 17, 2026.
• What is the requirement to be able to join the Swim Team?
  • Kids 5-18 years of age are allowed to join Knob Hill swim team.  Typically 4 year olds are not quite ready for swim team, but if your child is an advanced swimmer or turns 5 soon, they may be ready!  You can always sign them up, see how they do at practice, and get refunded if they aren't ready.
  • Minimum requirements: being able to jump in off the of the side of the pool into the deep end, go under water, and kick with a kickboard
  • Long term goal: swim the length of the pool without assistance 
  • Obviously, most kids who are summer swimmers have not swam since last summer; therefore, we understand our young swimmers may not be able to swim the length of the pool at the first practice.  If your child attends practices regularly, they will improve throughout the season.  
• What is the registration cost for the 2026 season?
  • Knob Hill Residents- $125 for first swimmer and $115 for each additional family member
• • Nonresidents- $150 for first swimmer and $140 for each additional family member.  *Nonresident swimmers must be sponsored by a resident of Knob Hill and should arrange payment through that sponsor.  For more information on this, please email [email protected] or call/text Carolyn at 706-339-8336.

• What forms of payment for registration do you accept?
  • Payment of registration fees can be submitted via check or through online credit card payment. Please note that registration payment is ONLY refundable with a written request sent to [email protected] by May 21, 2026.  After May 21, NO refunds will be processed.
  • When submitting payment online, please note you will be charged a convenience fee of 3.4% plus 30¢ per transaction to process card payments. This fee is nonrefundable.
• How do I register?
  • Registration is completely online and paperless! Please go to knobhill.swimtopia.com and when registration is open, a blue button on the homepage will appear saying Register!
• How do I get a refund of registration fees?
  • To request a refund of registration fees, send a written request sent to [email protected] 
  • We will not issue refunds after May 21.  You can get a full refund, with the exception of the swimmer t-shirt included in the registration fee ($15).
• Each family must have a parent volunteer for 1/2 of each swim meet. You will not be able to complete your registration until this is completed.
